What’s your process for picking out an outfit?
I start from the bottom up usually so that means either trousers or shoes first. I don’t really have a process it all just depends on what stands out at that moment when I open my closet.
How does your environment impact how you dress?
It’s all completely internal, it just depends on me, where I’m going, what I’ll be doing and how I feel about myself that day. Sometimes I care a lot about dressing and sometimes I don’t and surprise myself look wise.
What is it about your style you love?
I like how adaptable it is, I can slip into anything for any occasion and feel comfortable and confident as long as I know I have worn the fit the best I could.
What’s your favourite accessory and why?
The cross necklace I’m wearing now is my favourite - it reminds me of a rosary that I owned a few years back that I lost, I’m still looking for it.
What’s your favourite item of clothing you own, and why?
My favourite item is probably my Duke basketball team sweatshirt which I bought in New York in 2012 and has been heavily featured in all my outfits. It’s slowly fading from black to grey but I love it all the same.
What’s a brand you stand by?
Saint Laurent - I have always loved but even more so during the Hedi Slimane era, followed by Gucci with Alessandro Michele at the Helm. I am also a huge fan of the smaller players in the industry like Palamo Spain, there’s simply too many to choose from.
Where do you get your main style inspirations, if any?
Music is a huge part of my make up so maybe that is where I get it from? I am into all genres hip hop, rock & metal, folk to country. With grunge being big in the 90’s Rock Scene and hip hop with its Girbauld jeans, FUBU and strong shoe game and then Country music with the Nudie suits which all the greats wore on stage at some point, along with Heeled boots which have been a life long obsession.
Who are your fashion role models?
Andre 3000, a rapper, really pushed the boundaries of fashion within that community inspiring the likes of Kanye West, Pharell Williams and A$AP Rocky.
You now have access to a person wardrobe - who do you choose and why?
It’s got to be David Bowie’s wardrobe. He went through so many style changes throughout his life and interpreted every trend from the 60s through to the end of his life so uniquely, I’d love to see the pieces he used to make it happen from Ziggy Stardust.
