What’s your process for picking out an outfit?
My shoes. I feel like as soon as I choose my shoes I can work from there and think about the rest of the outfit.
Does your environment impact how you dress?
Definitely. My parents are very conservative, I dress smart back at home, however when I’m back in London, I feel like I can be myself and dress the way I want to dress and express my self.
What is it about your style you love?
I love the fact that I don’t always wear dresses and heels on a night out. I am more than comfortable with dressing like a boy or wearing unisex clothes.
What’s your favourite accessory and why?
My favourite accessory would be this silver necklace my grandmother gave me a couple of years ago. Also, I love my rings. I feel more confident when I wear rings for whatever reason.
What’s your favourite item of clothing you own, and why?
I’d say my Dickies trousers. They go with everything! You can wear them to a job interview (I actually did once), or you can wear them on a night out.
What’s a brand you stand by?
Probably Converse. I admired how they have changed and adapted the way they have promoted themselves and made a difference in the youth culture for years.
Where do you get your main style inspirations, if any?
As a fashion student, I try to keep up with the latest trends and research a lot on who have ‘good’ fashion sense. I also look through vogue runway photos.
Who are your fashion role models?
My main fashion role models at the moment are Marc Goehring, Ib Kamara, Adesuwa Aighewi, and Elizabeth Fraser-Bell. All of these people are very talented, creative and are fashion icons in my opinion.
You now have access to a person wardrobe - who do you choose and why?
Probably Rihanna’s wardrobe. She has been a fashion icon for years and never fails to impress the public eye with her new crazy outfits.
